Lil Flip Plans To Fight Gun and Drug Arrest!

Lil Flip is speaking out on his Christmas night arrest in Louisiana…and saying that the gun and drug charges brought against him are 100% bogus!

Louisiana police allege that after they pulled Flip over for speeding, they found marijuana and an assault rifle is his vehicle.  However Flip maintains that both charges are false.

According to Flip, the “marijuana” found by police was actually Black and Mild cigars and clove cigarettes.  The rapper told TMZ:

“I’m not one of those rappers who would carry drugs on me. I know better.”

Flip also maintains that the gun police found in his vehicle was not an automatice assault rifle, but a legit firearm that he has a valid LICENSE to carry (see photo below)!

Flip, whose real name is Wesley Eric Weston, says he needs to carry a gun because he’s an entertainer who’s been shot before.  And his Texas concealed handgun license is also valid in 22 other states, including Louisiana!

With this in mind, Flip intends to plead not guilty on BOTH charges, adding:

“I know they don’t mess around in Louisiana and I wouldn’t do anything to make me go to the big house. Especially on Christmas night.”
