 TOP 12 OF 2012: #12 – Will Smith Slaps Reporter

It was the slap that was heard ’round the world!

In May 2012, when a reporter at the Men in Black 3 Moscow premiere presumptuously tried to kiss him on the lips, Will Smith reminded us all that, while he may be America’s favorite leading man, he was born and raised in Philly!

Clearly taken aback by the sneak kiss, Smith automatically reacted by smacking the over zealous reporter DEAD in the face!  Even afterwards Smith was clearly still peeved by the audacity of the reporter, because he went on to tell another reporter that the kissing culprit was lucky didn’t get “sucker punched!”

The reporter later tried to play off his over familiarity with Smith as an”emotional impulse” that he made in order to “impress” Smith… RIIIIIGHT.  Smith wasn’t having it and neither were we!

However, after checking the culprit one time, the ever magnanimous A-lister was able to shake off the incident and go back to business as usual.  But Smith delivered a valuable lesson that we, and the reporter, will never forget – Don’t mess with the Fresh Prince!
