Meek Mill Drops Cassidy Diss

Not even the holiday season could get Meek Mill and Cassidy to feel charitable towards one another!  What started out last month as a Twitter beef between the Philly rappers has now migrated into the studio. the third verse of which was a diss directed at Meek Milly:

“He said he wanna battle n—-s, but when I took him up on his offer he started to reconsider/ That cat lame on every song he rap the same/ That cat changed he got a deal and don’t act the same/ That n—- wilding cause he sold a couple hundred thousand/ But I sold triple what that n—- sold my first album/ That ain’t nothing new I raised son/ I was around when that clown couldn’t even get his braids done/ Why he dropped that ‘I’m a Boss’ sh–?/ Cause his boss say he a BAWSE and he just on his boss d–k.”

Yesterday, Meek retaliated, releasing an entire Cassidy diss track called “Repo.”  On the track, Meek takes shots at Cassidy for his Psy remake “(“Really, f—in’ ‘Condom Style,’ get ya jig on/ You a clown ass n—a, put a wig on”),”  as well as his finances:

“And you talkin’ ‘bout a battle rap, how you gonna handle that/ 100 grand p—y n—a? You ain’t got the tag for that.”

Though both MCs are from the same city, they’ve come into fame at different times.  And while Cassidy has been verbal about his feelings that Meek Mill should pay him homage for “paving the way,” Meek has been equally verbal about his feelings that Cassidy is a ‘has been.’  With neither rapper showing signs of a compromise, we wouldn’t be surprised if this match goes on for another few rounds.
