Fat Joe Popped For Tax Evasion

Say it ain’t so!  Rapper Fat Joe is the latest celebrity to come under the IRS microscope for not paying taxes, and the outcome is not looking good for the kid!

Joe has actually plead GUILTY to charges levied against him for unpaid taxes during the years of 2007 and 2008.  Joe made roughly $3 million during those years, $700,000 of which should have been paid to Uncle Sam.

According to his lawyer, Fat Joe “had already taken steps to resolve this situation” before he was charged, and hoped to pay back the taxes by the time of his sentencing April 3.  He could face up to 2 years in prison.

Hopefully it doesn’t come to that!  One thing’s for sure though, the IRS  has hit the big time by shaking down these celebrities for unpaid taxes!  They’ve hit up Lauryn Hill, Nas, Lil’ Wayne, and Fat Joe in the past couple months alone!
