Lil Wayne Writes A Huge Check To The Uncle Sam!

Don’t mess with Uncle Sam! To avoid a “Wesley Snipes” type situation, Lil’ Wayne has paid over $7.72 million in back taxes he owed the IRS that dates back as far as 2002.

According to Miami-Dade County records, Weezy owed $3.6M snd 2.3M in taxes 2008 and $2,258,956 in 2008 and 2009 alone, respectively. The IRS came after him last year when they found out he was trying to sell his 15,000 square foot Miami Beach mansion for $11.6M. Weezy paid his bill after the IRS put not one or two but three liens on his properties.

On top of shelling out millions to the government, a jury awarded Quincy Jones III (QD3) $2.2M for lost profits after Lil’ Wayne berated his film The Carter Documentary before its release. More money. More problems.

But it looks like Weezy is being smart and taking care of his obligations before his obligations take care of him!
