Rumor has it that Atlanta rapper Trinidad James has just signed a $2 million deal with Def Jam, leaving many scratching their heads, wondering, “how did THAT happen?”
While Def Jam officials have not confirmed bringing the “All Gold Everything” rapper on board, label executives from both Def Jam and Atlantic records were spotted in attendance at James’ sold out show at The Santos Party House, in NYC.
If rumors are true, then James is the luckiest rapper alive. He’s admittedly only been rapping for 11 months, and only has one mixtape, Don’t Be S.A.F.E., under his belt.
