Rihanna Debuts New Clothing Collection

Over the summer, Rihanna has been working with UK clothing line River Island on a new collection for the brand for Spring 2013. The collection has been highly anticipated, with Rihanna hinting that she was working with designers she “respected,” and that they were “creating something really special.”  River Island jumped on the chance to work with Rihanna, calling the fashion risk-taker “a style icon, from street to chic [who] enjoys her fashion.”

Some sneak peaks are starting to trickle in from the clothing collabo.  Rihanna posted a behind-the-scenes pic of the ad campaign she directed for line:

And while out on the town, the pop star also debuted the first piece from her collection, a navy-blue jumpsuit with buttons, an elastic waist, and an attached hood; which she accessorized with a gold chain necklace and her brand-new Rolex.
