Tyga Reveals He’s A Studio Thug (Surprise, Surprise)

Another day, another rapper exposed as being…not as hard as he claims to be.

Some street credibility destroying footage has surfaced of Tyga, courtesy of MTV’s 2008 game show ”Bustas” — a game show that pitted wannabe-rappers against each other for 15 minutes of fame.

Tyga was a guest on said show, where he engaged in a number of on-screen tomfooleries, and pretty much acted like a lame in general.  However, in a freestyle segment, he did make some revealing statements:

1. He claimed that he was “still street” despite the fact that he comes from a well-to-do family in the Valley, and his parents drive a Range Rover (Tyga has since claimed to have ties to Compton).

2.  He reveals that he got the name Tyga because his mom said he looked like Tiger Woods (Tyga has since said that Tyga stands for Thank You God Always).

Hmm….what to believe, what to believe?  I don’t think a rapper has fallen this hard since Rick Ross was exposed as a prison guard.  On the other hand, Rick Ross’ past didn’t seem to hurt him too much, so maybe this thing with Tyga will blow over too.  Tyga can only hope.
