Kid Cudi Gives Up Custody Of His Daughter

Kid Cudi has just pumped the brakes on a 1+ year long custody battle with his baby mama, allowing her to take full custody of their daughter.

Originally, Cudi got a place in Chicago to be close to his daughter and her mother, and said that he regularly provided generous child support to his daughter.  However, in the course of the legal battle, his BM called Cudi an absentee dad, and said that he lied about his child support payments – they were really “sporadic and in inconsistent amounts.”  According to court docs, she also claimed that Cudi had a ”long history of consistent drug and alcohol abuse” and violent tendencies.

She really went in on him, and it seems like Kid Cudi didn’t have the heart to follow Usher’s example, because he gave in.  In exchange for giving his BM full custody, Kid Cudi will be allowed visitation.  Of course, he will also be required to pay child support.
