Rihanna’s “777″ Film Gets Release Date

A release date has been set for Rihanna’s documentary centered around her insane “777″ promotional tour. Rihanna invited dozens of journalists and fans with her onboard a Boeing 777 last year as she toured seven cities in seven days, including Toronto, Mexico City, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and New York.

The documentary will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the tour, which is probably more than a lot of the journalists got. Things between Rihanna and the press got contentious as the trip neared it’s end because the diva reportedly made her inaccesible and would not grant interviews to several of the outlets onboard the flight.

Rihanna 777 is expected to air May 6 on Fox is being produced by Ri’s production company, Fenty Films.
