Update: Woman Claims Cee Lo Gave Her Date Rape Drug

Looks like this story is going to get worse before it gets any better.

The woman accusing Cee Lo Green of sexual assault says that he drugged her, and she has the tape to prove it!  The woman, whose name is still unknown, claims to have secretly recorded a conversation with Green, in which he admits to drugging her and then having sex with her.

According to her police report, Green took her to a sushi restaurant in downtown L.A. in July.  They had a drink in the restaurant and she says the next thing she remembers is lying naked in a bed somewhere with Cee Lo in the room!

The reason why it took so long for the LAPD to hear about it is because the woman does not live in California, and she reported the incident to her local law enforcement first.  They eventually referred the case to the LAPD, and LAPD had her make a “pretext call” -  a call in which someone baits the other party into acknowledging a crime (aka a “set-up”) – and recorded it!

According to law enforcement sources, Green is caught on tape apologizing repeatedly and referencing MDMA (Ecstasy)…although he does not specifically say he put it in her drink.   Sources say Green tells the woman that he gave her Ecstasy, a drug not generally known to knock people out, because he thought the drug would help them have an exciting time together.

But sources close to Green say that this claim is b.s., because if detectives had such a tape in their possesion, Green would already be under arrest!  (They kind of have a point.)  They also say that this is all a money making scheme, because the woman hired a civil lawyer and tried to demand money from the singer BEFORE she went to the police!

Like we said earlier, this story is starting to get more and more triflin’ as it progresses, but SOMEONE is lying, that’s for certain!   Whose story do you believe?
